I am interested in building a whole house wood heater-Anyone know of where plans can be obtained?
I would like add an outdoor wood heater to our house and would like to construct one.

Can anyone recommend a good heater or furnace for a medium size outdoor dog house?
It would be better to have the dog inside where it could be a part of your family. But, if there is a "special" reason the dog can not be, then I think you need to be careful with what kind of heating system you use.
My kennel runs, when I eventually have the shed, and everything situated will be heated by a propane heater, with an Eden Pure as back up. In your case, if this is just a dog house, you will need to be extra careful. You do not want to use anything your dog could destroy. Dogs can be chewers, and if the dog has access to the electrical cord, or the heater itself, it might destroy it and hurt itself in the process.

what sort of heater do i need to heat an outdoor turtle pond, i need to increase it by 10degrees?
not sure how big it is, its 50cm deep and a metre by metre and a half??
Try a farm supply store for a small floating "stock tank heater". Plug the heater into a timer rated for outdoor use and multiple off/on settings. A floating swimming pool thermometer will let you monitor the water temperature and adjust the timer to maintain the temperature you want. Ideally you need a 110 volt thermostat switch with a submersible temperature probe but I can’t remember where I have seen them. An appliance parts store might be a good place to start.

I have a outdoor fish pond with goldfish. should i try and keep a heater in the pond for this winter?
The pond is only 270 gals.
I have an outside pond to with mosquito fish. Depend on where u live is your answer I would if you live in an area that has snow but if u live in like Florida or California You might not need to. all you really need to do is make sure the water doesn’t freeze . And if you didn’t know goldfish kind of Hibernate if the water gets colder . Anyway good luck!

Best Outdoor Natural Gas Tankless Water Heater?
We have 2 bathrooms, a washing machine, a diswasher with 2 adult living in the house.
I have installed 10-20 Rinnai tankless heaters and two of them outside. I recommend putting the small electrical circuit on a backup battery or generator so that if you lose power during cold months the small amount of pipes won’t freeze outside.
They work very well, and ive never had a problem with any of the ones Ive installed.
